Tatarstan, region where nationalities, religions and traditions coexist in peace. I’ve never been there, even if I studied in Nizhni Novgorod for three years, 400 kilometers only from Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan. Yes, 400 kilometers are nothing for Russians, their country measuring 10 000 km from East to West.
Actually, I’ve never been anywhere East to Nizhni, so it’s time to take an Oriental step this year. I’m continuing to explore the country where I was born. The country which geography I only know very little. Last year my trip to Karelia had a big success. Thousands of people watched my videos, dozens supported my project. I hope you will also support my trip to Tatarstan.
I’m planning to go to Tatarstan with my dad, driving from Moscow to Kazan and back. During our trip we’ll talk about the life in Russia, about Russian roads, about the culture and the nature of this region. We’ll taste chak-chak and plov, we’ll visit Kazan’s kremlin and the Kul Sharif Mosque. You’ll be able to watch our videos.
